The MLS is the agent's computerized database of listed properties. It's where agents find homes to show qualified buyers. It's also where they find sales comparables in order to help sellers determine the price of a home. Agents can access the MLS database 24 hours a day. Experts that analyze real estate sales data have concluded about 80% of sales occur due of exposure to brokers via the local MLS. It's that important.


Click on the MLS link and go to the Westside MLS Web Site. Do a property search by area, beds, baths, and price. You can see homes, condos, investment properties, and land. It’s a super easy and fast way to see what properties are currently listed for sale. However, the Westside market has been strong and properties that appear on the web may already be in escrow. Make sure to call or email me if you see a property you like. I’ll call the broker and get the scoop on it right away.

TUESDAY CARAVAN WITH PHOTO AD IN CARAVAN EXPRESS

Think of Tuesday Caravan as an open house for Realtors. When your home is listed, it will be advertised in a trade magazine called Caravan Express. We will hold your home open for broker viewing from 11am until 2pm on a scheduled Tuesday. Brokers read this trade magazine and then choose which newly listed homes to preview. 

Your property will appear with a photo in Caravan Express Magazine. I usually have about 50 agents stop by to preview your home. Like I said, this is an open house for Realtors

PRINT ADVERTISING

There are many newspapers and periodicals available to advertise your property. The Los Angeles Times offers a weekend photo display ad combined with a Sunday classified ad that we often use. Most community newspapers such as the Argonaut or the Palisades Post offer real estate advertising. Another real estate publication is "Homes and Open House". This free magazine is located on newspaper racks in convenience stores and markets. Properties and open houses can be advertised here with or without photos. When we meet to discuss listing your home, we will review the various print advertising 
options available.
